A leading industry expert said on Monday that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is “well prepared” for introducing its mixed reality headset, despite recent worries about the company.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities said in a blog post that it is “highly likely” that Apple (AAPL) will announce the headset at its developer conference the following month. He also said that the new device “bodes well” for the share prices of its supply chain, given that five of the components are some of the “most expensive material costs.” Apple is expected to announce the headset next month.

Taiwan Semiconductor produces the dual CPUs, while Sony produces the mini OLED display. Luxshare is in charge of the manufacturing of the devices, by the way.

Everwin Precision is in charge of the primary housing of the device, while Cowell and Goertek are in charge of the cameras and external power supply, respectively.

The gadget’s price, which is anticipated to integrate both virtual reality and augmented reality, has not yet been disclosed; nevertheless, industry observers anticipate that the headgear would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $3,000.

The World Wide Developer Conference, Apple’s annual developer conference, is scheduled to begin on June 5 with a keynote presentation.

Apple developers, members of the press, and industry experts will all be in attendance at the annual confab, which begins today and continues through June 9 at Apple Park.

It was rumored in February that Apple had pushed back the launch of the highly anticipated smartphone from April to June to address “lingering issues” with the product’s development.

In addition, during the event, Apple will likely demonstrate the most recent versions of its iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS operating systems.

During the middle of Monday’s trading session, the price of Apple stock declined somewhat.
