Ford’s Mustang Mach-E Order Book Will Reopen on Tuesday With Updated Pricing and Features.

Today, Ford Motor Business (NYSE:F) announced that the company will reopen orders for the Mustang Mach-E electric car on Tuesday with a price increase ranging from $3,000 to $8,100, depending on the desired trim level of the vehicle. Additionally, the American car manufacturer raised each model’s delivery cost by an additional $200.

Beginning on Tuesday, August 30th, orders will reflect the new pricing structure that will be in effect. In addition, Ford Motor Business (NYSE:F) will make a personal offer to upgrade to a 2023 model year automobile if the customer already possesses an existing but unscheduled 2022 car.

According to the statement, premium Mach-e vehicles will be constructed on Ford Motor Business (NYSE:F) extended range battery beginning in the fall of this year. The EPA estimates that AWD cars will have a range of 290 miles with this battery. The new Mustang Nite Pony Package will also be available alongside the premium extended range variants and the GT performance edition. The Nite Pony Package includes high-gloss black 19-inch wheels, a black pony, black interior elements, door trim, and mirror caps on the trim. Additionally, the Nite Pony Package comes with a black paint job.

Carbonized gray metallic and vapor blue metallic are the new colors available for the Mustang EV, both metallic finishes. These will take the place of frosted blue silver and dark matter gray.

The additional information included in the statement states, “Ford Co-Pilot 360TM Driver Assist Technology is now standard across the portfolio for all Mustang Mach-E models.”

Since its release into showrooms in December 2020, the Mustang Mach-e has been extremely popular. In July, electric vehicle sales continued to increase rapidly, reaching a new all-time record. Ford Motor Business (NYSE:F) overall electric vehicle (EV) sales increased by 168.7% in July, exceeding the overall growth of the EV market.
