DoorDash (NYSE:DASH)

Relex, a provider of supply chain and retail planning solutions, and DoorDash (NYSE:DASH) joined forces on Monday. As part of the collaboration, DoorDash’s DashMart locations will be served by RELEX’s AI-driven supply chain planning technology.

Carlos Victoria, SVP Sales Americas for RELEX, expressed his excitement about working with DoorDash to automate and improve forecasting and restocking for its DashMart locations. “We are eager to continue advancing accuracy and efficiency in DoorDash’s supply chain operations.” DASH stock is down 1.4% on Monday. The RELEX technology makes extremely precise forecasts using machine learning to maximize the availability of products at DashMart locations.

DoorDash was established in 2013 with the goal of assisting businesses in developing innovative strategies to expand their consumer bases. DoorDash is creating a foundation for local businesses, enabling small businesses to prosper in the convenience economy, expanding consumer access to their communities, and creating jobs that are liberating.

Economic impact initiative

A Neighborhood of Good in Every Order is the name of a multi-platform marketing campaign that DoorDash started today in the United States. This campaign exemplifies DoorDash’s goal of strengthening local economies, and it shows that even if an order may seem insignificant when customers receive their products, local businesses benefit, and Dashers are compensated. The campaign includes TV, digital, social, in-app, and outdoor components.

New Data Breach

Recently, hostile hackers utilized credentials stolen from third-party vendor personnel to get access to certain of DoorDash’s internal capabilities, making DoorDash a victim. As per the statement, the hackers accessed customer names, phone numbers, emails, and delivery addresses. They also gained limited access to payment card data for a “smaller subset” of users, including the type of card and the card number’s last four digits.
