Disney Reintroduces a Guest Favorite That Many Missed

Disney

Fans of Disneyland (NYSE:DIS)who wish to experience the 50th anniversary of the Main Street Electrical Parade or the Disneyland Forever fireworks spectacular, both of which conclude on September 1, the Halloween season at the park from September 2-October 31, or the holiday season from November 11-January 8 may have to spend a lot of money to visit Disneyland or its sister venue California Adventure multiple times.

A one-day ticket to a Disneyland (NYSE:DIS) Resort theme park ranges in price from $104 for an adult ($98 for a child) on a Wednesday to $164 for an adult ($at least $150 for a youngster) on a Saturday.

Guests of the Disneyland (NYSE:DIS) Resort must begin saving early in the year, use a credit card, or take out a modest loan in order to afford numerous days at Disney parks during holidays and special events. Depending on the number of days they want to come during the year, they will save a considerable amount with an annual pass.

Unfortunately, the sale of new yearly passes for Disney (NYSE:DIS) theme parks has been halted, with no scheduled date for resumption. Existing passholders, though, are in luck.

Guests of Disneyland Resort Can Save Significantly With This Offer

Disneyland (NYSE:DIS) Resort Magic Key annual passholders finally have some good news, as the Happiest Place on Earth will begin renewing Magic Key annual passes on August 18; however, no new sales will be made until further notice.

Renewals of the Imagine Key for certain Southern California residents begin at $449 and allow entrance with a reservation to one or both theme parks on specific days of the year, based on the availability of Magic Key-allocated reservations. Passholders may make up to two reservations and receive 20% off Genie+ service, up to 10% off retail, 10% off select meals, and 20% off Toy Story lot parking.

Enchant Key holders can renew their passes for $699, which grants them access with a reservation to one or both theme parks on specific days of the year, based on the availability of Magic Key-allocated reservations. Passholders may make up to four reservations and receive 20% off Genie+ service, up to 10% off goods, 10% off select meals, and 25% off Toy Story lot parking.

Early reservations are simple to secure.

Since reopening following its pandemic-related closures, Disney (NYSE:DIS) has implemented a reservation system and a capacity cap. Passholders, single-day ticket purchasers, and families on vacation must share a limited number of daily bookings, hence yearly passes were temporarily suspended.

The theme park company does not want to sell annual passes and then be unable to accommodate passholders’ park reservation requests. It also does not want to inform an out-of-town family that it cannot visit the parks it had intended to see on a multi-day trip.

The reservation system at Disney World indicates that all parks are open from August 27 through the end of the year and into next year, with the exception of October 12. From August 16 through August 26, several parks are reservable, except on August 18, when they are all available.
