On Wednesday, Amazon stock gained after introducing new variants of its Fire 8 tablets, including one with a display measuring 8 inches and costing $99 despite having a battery life of 13 hours.

The Amazon Fire 8 HD, which costs $99, features a Hexa-core processor that is 30 percent quicker than the one found in its predecessor. Additionally, Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) supports charging via USB-C and can be fully charged in five hours. There are three color options: black, denim, and rose.

The gray Fire HD 8 plus costs $120 and can be fully charged three hours after being plugged in. Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) also has the capability of wireless charging, a more detailed camera, and a more powerful processor than the Fire HD 8.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids can be purchased for $150 and comes with a free one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+. This service provides access to a variety of children’s programming from popular networks such as Disney and Nickelodeon. You can pay an additional ten dollars to get a Mickey Mouse or a Disney Princess case for your kid’s version of the Fire HD 8 tablet with a Disney (DIS) theme. Amazon stock has witnessed an increase in trading volume due to the new developments.
