Accenture (NYSE:ACN), through its subsidiary Accenture Ventures, has invested significantly in Pixxel, a company developing earth imaging technology.

Pixxel, headquartered in Bangalore with an office in Los Angeles, is developing a constellation of hyperspectral imaging satellites with an unprecedented resolution to provide artificial intelligence-powered insights to the commercial sector that can be used to detect, address, and predict climate change.

With the announcement of a $25 million Series A funding round in March 2022 and the launch of their first satellite as part of SpaceX’s Transporter-4 payload in April 2022, the corporation has decided to invest in Pixxel.

Accenture (NYSE:ACN) senior managing director and lead – Advanced Technology Centers in India Mahesh Zurale said, “Our investment in Pixxel reflects our ongoing and active engagement with the promising startup ecosystem in India, and more such engagements are key for creating solutions that drive real-world impact.” With climate and sustainability challenges having an ever-increasing impact on our daily lives, we believe Pixxel’s Earth Health Monitoring may play a key role by allowing global organizations to notice potentially dangerous occurrences early on and help prevent them.

Together, Kubota and Accenture will improve sustainability in the industry.

To speed up the digital transformation of the Kubota group’s business model and operational infrastructure, Kubota and Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has launched a new joint venture company.

On September 1, 2022, the new business will officially launch.

With its strategic DX capabilities, Kubota Data Ground will be positioned to make an even more significant impact on food, water, and environmental sustainability.

Accenture (NYSE:ACN) Japan CEO Atsushi Egawa has stated, “Our mission is to create 360° value for all our stakeholders—our customers, staff, shareholders, partners, and communities. Since Kubota is at the forefront of solving problems related to food, water, and the environment on a global scale, this partnership is a perfect representation of our companies’ shared goals and values. As a community, we will keep working to create a better world by using our collective skills in areas like data analysis, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the training of digital transformation experts.
