GATINEAU, QC, Sept. 12, 2024 /CNW/ – Members of the media are invited to join a guided tour of the Lasalle Causeway to view the work underway in preparation of the installation of the temporary modular bridge. Officials from Public Services and Procurement Canada will conduct the tour and be available to answer questions.

Media wishing to attend this media tour are asked to confirm their participation by sending their full name and the name of the media organization they represent to PSPC’s Media Relations team at [email protected] no later than Friday at 10 a.m. Information regarding parking will be shared once media are registered for the tour.
Please note that the LaSalle Causeway is an active construction site. A pre-tour, mandatory health and safety orientation will be provided on site. Proper PPE, such as a hard hat, protective footwear and a reflective vest must be worn at all times. These items will not be supplied. Long pants are also required for health and safety reasons.
