MONTREAL, Sept. 25, 2023 /CNW/ – Canadian organizations representing mainly presenters are joining forces to speak out against the situation that has prevailed at Canadian Heritage, whereby the two major programs that their members benefit from are no longer sufficient to meet current needs.

Their representatives will hold a press conference just days before a round of cutbacks called for by the President of the Treasury Board, and six months before an anticipated 25% cut to the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, which raises serious concerns for the future of the performing arts.
