Board Update – Listing Rule 6.4.6
Kenmare Resources plc (LSE:KMR, ISE:KMR), one of the leading global producers of titanium minerals and zircon, which operates the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine in northern Mozambique, announces the following update regarding its Board in accordance with Listing Rule 6.4.6.
Issa Al Balushi, a Non-Executive Director of Kenmare, stepped down from the Company’s Board of Directors on 22 August 2026 and the Board has appointed Mahmood Al Khatri as a Non-Executive Director with effect from that date. Both Issa and Mahmood were appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company having first been nominated by African Acquisition Sarl (“AAS”), Kenmare's largest shareholder and a company controlled by Oman Investment Authority (“OIA”), pursuant to the Subscription and Relationship Agreement, dated 18 June 2016, between the Company and AAS.
Mahmood is a Senior Manager at OIA, responsible for overseeing OIA's Private Equity Fund Investments across Buyouts, Growth, and Venture Capital strategies spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. He has over 15 years of experience across leading investment institutions with exposure to both public and private markets, domestically and internationally. Mahmood holds an MSc in Financial Economics from Cardiff University Business School, UK and a BSc in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He is a Director of Maha Ceramic SAOG, which is listed on the Muscat Securities Exchange in Oman, and various private entities on behalf of OIA.
